About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Billerud is replacing the old recovery boiler at its Frövi mill in Sweden with a new HERB recovery boiler supplied by ANDRITZ. The upgrade improves energy and resource efficiency, increases renewable energy generation from biomass, reduces emissions, and supports stable pulp production as part of the company's sustainability strategy. Evidence: "The loan supports the environmental upgrade of an existing integrated pulp and paper mill in Frövi, Sweden, including the replacement of an old recovery boiler built in 1969. The upgrades will reduce emissions, improve energy and resource efficiency and increase renewable energy generation at the mill." — https://www.eib.org/en/press/all/2023-470-sweden-eib-signs-sek-1-3-billion-loan-agreement-with-billerud-for-bioproduct-mill-upgrade
