About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

ONGC's first full-scale CCS pilot at Gandhar oilfield in Gujarat, injecting ~100 tonnes CO2 per day from own Hazira plant and nearby sources into two depleted onshore wells for storage and potential EOR, reducing Scope 1 emissions. Evidence: "ONGC plans to store captured carbon dioxide in depleted wells at Gujarat's Gandhar oilfield, marking the company's first full-scale Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) pilot... The pilot will use two abandoned onshore wells to inject around 100 tonnes of CO2 per day into subsurface hydrocarbon reservoirs." — https://www.business-standard.com/companies/news/ongc-plans-to-store-co2-in-depleted-wells-at-gujarat-s-gandhar-field-126010400118_1.html
