About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Hapag-Lloyd signed a long-term agreement with Goldwind for the annual delivery of 250,000 tons of green methanol to power its fleet. This supports the company's decarbonization by using low-carbon fuel in its own vessel operations. Evidence: "In November 2024, we have signed a long-term agreement with Goldwind for the annual delivery of 250,000 tons of green methanol , reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 400,000 tons per year." — https://www.hapag-lloyd.com/content/dam/website/downloads/press_and_media/publications/Hlag_Sustainability_Report_2024.pdf
