About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Hainan Airlines obtained ISO 50001 Energy Management System certification and implemented nearly 30 measures including fleet modernization with B787 aircraft, split scimitar winglets on B737s, intelligent cleaning robots, GPU replacing APU, and CIRCLE FLY route optimization. These reduced fuel use by 294,000 tons and CO2 by 926,000 tons from 2014-2019. Evidence: "After completing the EnMS certification, Hainan Airlines has saved a total of 294,000 tons of fuel (12.86 million GJ), which is about 2.7% of total energy consumption, saving about 1.5 billion RMB in costs and reducing CO2 emissions by about 926,000 tons." — https://www.cleanenergyministerial.org/content/uploads/2022/03/cem-em-casestudy-hainan-china.pdf
