About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Harmony Gold commissioned three 10 MW solar PV facilities at its Tshepong, Nyala and Eland operations in South Africa as Phase 1 of its decarbonisation programme. The behind-the-meter installations directly displace grid electricity and fossil fuel consumption at the mines, cutting the company's own Scope 1 and 2 emissions. Evidence: "Phase 1 of our decarbonisation programme entailed the commissioning of three 10MW solar PV facilities, specifically at our Tshepong, Nyala and Eland operations" — https://www.harmony.co.za/sustainability/case-studies/2024/phase-1-and-small-scale-solar-pv-projects
