About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Mowi Chile installed Chile's first floating solar hybrid power system at its Huar Norte salmon farming site to replace diesel generators with on-site renewable solar energy. The project integrates solar panels on net pens in collaboration with technology partners and reduces direct Scope 1 emissions from operations. It is part of broader efforts including solar installations at other Chilean seawater sites and processing plants. Evidence: "The hybrid system replaces part of the site’s diesel usage with solar energy, targeting a reduction of approximately 139,200 liters of diesel per year. According to Mowi, this is expected to cut around 350 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually – emissions Mowi directly controls under Scope 1." — https://www.offshore-energy.biz/floating-solar-powered-system-replaces-diesel-at-salmon-pen-in-chile/
