About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited sources 33% of its energy across Indian plants from renewables including on-site solar (totaling 1.788 MW capacity enabling 1,653 MWh grid savings) and PPAs for solar and wind power at sites like Sri City and Sanand, directly reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions in its manufacturing operations. Evidence: "In FY 2024-25, we utilized approximately 232.464 TJ of energy across all our Indian plants, with 33% sourced from renewable energy sources like solar and wind. The in-house 1.788 MW solar plant enabled savings of 1,653 MWh from the grid. Renewable energy procurement through PPAs accounted for 6,058 MWh." — https://www.colgateinvestors.co.in/annual-report-2025/environmental-stewardship-optimize.html
