About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd. operates the Kashima solar power plant in Japan, generating renewable electricity for its own use and reducing Scope 2 emissions. The plant has been operational since 2016 and contributed to emission reductions in FY2024. Evidence: "Additionally, the Kashima solar power plant operated by SMM helped to reduce emissions by 1.6 kt-CO2e in FY2024." — https://www.smm.co.jp/en/sustainability/management/climate/climate_3.html
