About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
DS Smith invested £48 million to upgrade the fibre preparation line at its Kemsley paper mill in the UK. The project improves recycling processes, reduces water usage and energy consumption, and cuts emissions by more than 6,000 tonnes of CO2 per year. Commissioning is due in early 2026. Evidence: "This reduction of emissions by more than 6000 Tonnes of CO2 a year reaffirms DS Smith’s goal of decreasing their Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions by 46% compared to 2019, by the year 2030." — https://www.dssmith.com/media/our-stories/2024/2/kemsley-paper-mill-to-boost-its-efficiency-with-48m-investment
