About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Sappi Europe's Kirkniemi Mill in Finland invested EUR 16.5 million in facilities for reception, storage and handling of biofuels, switching from coal to renewable biomass energy in 2023. This eliminated 90% of the mill’s direct Scope 1 greenhouse gas emissions. Evidence: "A major investment to convert on-site power generation to biofuels eliminated 90% of the mill’s direct, Scope 1 greenhouse gas emissions in 2023." — https://www.sappi.com/en-us/about-us/locations/mills/kirkniemi-mill
