About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The Kujawy Go4ECOPlanet project aims to fully decarbonize cement production at the Holcim-owned Kujawy Cement Plant in Poland by capturing 100% of CO2 emissions from clinker production using Air Liquide's Cryocap technology. The captured CO2 will be liquefied, transported by rail and vessel to the Port of Gdańsk, and then shipped to permanent storage sites in the North Sea. This full-chain CCS initiative will achieve over 105% GHG emissions avoidance relative to reference scenarios and enable the plant to become Poland's first zero-emission cement facility by 2027.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">89</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">90</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">58</argument></grok:render>
