About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Lake Charles Methanol II is a clean energy project located near Lake Charles, Louisiana, that uses advanced natural gas reforming technology with permanent carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) to produce low-carbon hydrogen for conversion to blue methanol. The technology achieves a 99% reduction in carbon emissions during hydrogen production, enabling very low carbon intensity methanol. It will capture and sequester approximately 1 million metric tons of CO2 per year in deep saline aquifer formations.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
