About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Through its wholly-owned subsidiary Southwest Airlines Renewable Ventures (SARV), Southwest announced a $30 million investment in LanzaJet, Inc., a SAF technology provider with the world's first commercial ethanol-to-SAF plant. The partnership aims to develop a U.S. SAF production facility primarily for Southwest and advance cellulosic ethanol-to-SAF conversion using SAFFiRE technology. This supports Southwest's goal to replace 10% of jet fuel with SAF by 2030, cutting its own operational emissions. Evidence: "Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) today announces the launch of Southwest Airlines Renewable Ventures (SARV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Southwest Airlines dedicated to creating more opportunities for Southwest to obtain scalable sustainable aviation fuel (SAF)" — https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/southwest-airlines-launches-renewable-ventures-subsidiary-to-advance-sustainable-aviation-fuel-and-announces-investment-in-lanzajet-302074318.html
