About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Mitsui Chemicals and its subsidiary Osaka Petrochemical Industries, Ltd. implemented an energy-saving process using LNG cold energy from an adjacent Osaka Gas facility at the ethylene plant. The project commenced in October 2010 and enables significant CO2 reductions through efficient cooling in the purification process. Evidence: "Together with Osaka Gas Co., Ltd., Mitsui Chemicals and its consolidated subsidiary, Osaka Petrochemical Industries, Ltd. have adopted energy-saving process by using liquefied natural gas (LNG)-generated cold energy in the ethylene plant. This world-first energy saving process using LNG-generated cold energy on a large-scale at our ethylene plant commenced in October 2010." — https://jp.mitsuichemicals.com/en/sustainability/rc/environment/ghg/index.htm
