Maruti Suzuki operates and has expanded a biogas plant at its Manesar facility using Napier grass and food waste to produce biogas for manufacturing processes, and is constructing a new 10 TPD biogas plant at Kharkhoda facility. These projects enable fuel switching from fossil fuels to renewable biogas in its own operations.
