About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Ecolab entered a virtual power purchase agreement supporting 100 MW of capacity in the 419 MW Mesquite Star wind farm in Texas to source 100% of its North American electricity needs from renewables. The project became operational in 2020 and supports Ecolab's Scope 2 emissions reductions. Evidence: "Ecolab Inc. ... has signed an agreement to support Clearway Energy Group’s 419-megawatt (MW) wind farm, Mesquite Star, in Fisher County, Texas. ... Through a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) – Ecolab’s first – the company will support construction of 100 MW of new renewable electricity capacity within the Mesquite Star wind farm." — https://investor.ecolab.com/news/news-details/2018/Ecolab-Investing-in-Renewable-Power-Project-with-Clearway-Energy-Group/default.aspx
