About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Irish Distillers (Pernod Ricard subsidiary) announced a multi-year plan to transform the Midleton Distillery in Ireland into a carbon-neutral operation by 2026. Investments include high-efficiency boilers, waste heat recovery, mechanical vapor recompression, and transition to renewable sources including green hydrogen and biogas. Evidence: "The carbon neutral roadmap for Midleton Distillery will involve the roll out of several projects aimed firstly at reducing overall energy use by improving on-site energy generation efficiency and recycling waste heat in the distillation process." — https://www.pernod-ricard.com/en/media/irish-distillers-announces-plans-midleton-distillery-become-carbon-neutral-2026-using-break
