About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Mitsui Chemicals developed a pilot plant in Osaka, Japan, for producing methanol from CO2 captured from adjacent petrochemical facilities and electrolytic hydrogen produced with variable renewables. The facility has a capacity of 100 tons of methanol per year, utilizing approximately 150-160 tons of CO2 annually. Operations commenced in 2009, with demonstration tests aimed at validating the synthesis process and catalyst performance.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
