About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Southwest became the first commercial airline to bring Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel to Oakland International Airport (OAK) in August 2022 and continued utilizing Neste SAF in operations in 2024. The fuel, made from 100% renewable waste and residue raw materials, reduces lifecycle GHG emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional jet fuel, directly lowering Southwest's Scope 1 and upstream Scope 3 emissions. Evidence: "In August 2022, we became the first commercial airline to bring Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel™ to Oakland International Airport (OAK)." — https://www.southwest.com/citizenship/planet/sustainable-aviation-fuels/
