About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Keurig Dr Pepper is investing €6.44 million in its Newbridge, Ireland beverage production facility to install heat pumps for electrification of heat, implement energy savings initiatives, and power the facility with 100% renewable electricity. The project will minimize energy consumption and reduce approximately 1,600 metric tons of carbon emissions annually from Scope 1 and 2. Installation begins in 2024 with about one year construction period. Evidence: "Once construction is complete, the state-of-the-art beverage production facility will be powered with 100% renewable electricity and will minimize overall energy consumption. This will enable the facility to reduce approximately 1,600 metric tons of carbon emissions annually, contributing to KDP’s 2030 climate commitments to obtain 100% of electricity from renewable sources and reduce Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 30%." — https://www.keurigdrpepper.com/keurig-dr-pepper-ireland-facility-to-reduce-its-carbon-emissions-by-100/
