About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

NTPC commissioned India's first green hydrogen blending project in the piped natural gas (PNG) network of its Kawas township in Surat, Gujarat. Green hydrogen is produced via electrolysis using power from an existing 1 MW floating solar project at the site and blended initially at 5% vol./vol. with PNG for supply to township households, with plans to scale to 20%. Evidence: "Country’s largest power generator, NTPC Ltd commissions India's first green hydrogen blending project. Green hydrogen blending has been started in the piped natural gas (PNG) network of NTPC Kawas township, Surat." — https://ntpc.co.in/media/press-releases/ntpc-starts-indias-first-green-hydrogen-blending-operation-png-network
