About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

BHP signed a renewable Power Purchase Agreement with Neoen to supply 70 MW of renewable energy from wind and battery storage to meet approximately half of Olympic Dam's electricity needs from FY2026, enabling a net zero emission position for the contracted volume. This is a contracted renewable energy project reducing Scope 2 emissions in BHP's own copper operations in Australia. Evidence: "BHP has signed a renewable Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Neoen, which is expected to meet half of Olympic Dam’s electricity needs from FY2026, based on current forecast demand, and allow Olympic Dam to record a net zero emission position for the contracted volume of supply." — https://www.bhp.com/news/media-centre/releases/2022/11/new-wind-and-battery-project-in-south-australia
