About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Toyo Seikan Co., Ltd. installed a 1.6 MW on-site self-consumption solar power system at its Shizuoka Plant under a PPA model with TESS Engineering and Mizuho-Toshiba Leasing. The system began supplying renewable electricity in March 2025, generating about 1,919 MWh annually for the plant's use. Evidence: "Use of renewable electricity began in March 2025 as part of a power purchase agreement (PPA) 1 . ... The generation capacity is approximately 1.6 MW, with an estimated annual power generation of about 1,919 MWh, which will all be supplied to the Shizuoka Plant, resulting in an expected reduction of approximately 810 tons of CO2 emissions annually 2 ." — https://www.tskg-hd.com/en/news/detail/20250418_newsrelease_e.html
