Orlen acquired and is developing a ~40 MW solar PV farm adjacent to its Płock refinery, with direct connection to the internal refinery grid. The project generates renewable electricity for on-site use, reducing Scope 2 emissions in Orlen's refining operations. Construction contractor selection planned for 2026, commissioning targeted for early 2028. Evidence: "W bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie zakładu powstanie farma fotowoltaiczna o mocy około 40 MW. Instalacja umożliwi wyprodukowanie w skali roku blisko 45 tys.
