About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Papastratos, PMI's Greek affiliate, installed 2.4 MW rooftop photovoltaic panels covering 10,600 m² at its Aspropyrgos factory to generate on-site renewable electricity. It is also deploying advanced heat pumps and electrical boilers to replace natural gas systems for process heat, alongside energy efficiency upgrades like insulation, steam system enhancements, and process optimization under the Drive 4 Zero and Zero Carbon Tech programs. Evidence: "Photovoltaic (PV) panels have been installed across the factory’s rooftops covering 10,600 m² ... A total of 2.4 MW has now been installed. ... Advanced heat pumps will also be installed ... Electrical boilers are planned to replace conventional natural gas boilers ... The combined effect of these technologies is expected to reduce the factory’s carbon emissions by approximately 20-25 percent annually compared to its 2023 baseline." — https://www.pmi.com/sustainability/case-studies-and-market-stories/papastratos-driving-climate-action-greece
