OMV Petrom started construction in February 2025 of a SAF and renewable diesel (HVO) production unit at the Petrobrazi refinery in Romania with 250,000 tons annual capacity, including associated green hydrogen facilities. The project has a total investment of €750 million and targets production start in 2028.
