MERLIN Properties is installing photovoltaic panels on the roofs of its office, shopping, and logistics assets as part of the SUN project to generate on-site renewable energy and reduce Scope 2 emissions. By 2024, 15.6 MW of capacity had been installed across multiple assets, enabling self-production of a portion of the company's energy consumption. The project supports the company's Pathway to Net Zero strategy and 100% renewable energy procurement goal.
