About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Qantas signed an agreement to purchase blended sustainable aviation fuel produced from used cooking oil and waste feedstocks for use on flights departing London Heathrow Airport. This represents the first ongoing SAF procurement by an Australian airline for regular scheduled services, supporting direct insetting of emissions from Qantas' long-haul operations. Evidence: "Qantas will purchase blended sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from next month, helping to reduce its carbon emissions by around 10 per cent for its flights from London. It is the first time an Australian airline will purchase SAF on an ongoing basis for regular scheduled services." — https://www.qantas.com/agencyconnect/au/en/agency-news/agency-news-december-21/qantas-purchases-sustainable-aviation-fuel-for-kangaroo-route.html
