About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Canadian Natural Resources Limited holds a significant working interest (80% post-2025 swap) in the Quest Carbon Capture and Storage project at the Scotford Upgrader as part of the Athabasca Oil Sands Project. The facility captures and permanently sequesters approximately 1.1 million tonnes of CO2 per year from oil sands upgrading operations, directly reducing Scope 1 emissions in CNRL's value chain. Evidence: "Quest(2) ~1.1 million (2) Canadian Natural is a 90% working interest owner in Quest." — https://www.cnrl.com/content/uploads/2025/09/WV_Corp-Pres_Sep.pdf

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
