About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Nutrien's Redwater, Alberta ammonia facility directs a pure stream of CO2 from production to the Alberta Carbon Trunk Line for permanent sequestration. Operations directing CO2 to the pipeline began in December 2019, supporting lower carbon intensity ammonia production. Evidence: "Our Redwater and Geismar operations use carbon capture and storage to lower our carbon intensity... Our Redwater facility started directing CO from the production process for permanent sequestration in December 2019 via injection into the Alberta Carbon Trunk Line" — https://nutrien-prod-asset.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/s3fs-public/uploads/2022-04/Ammonia_Transitioning%20to%20a%20Net-Zero%20Future.pdf
