About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

SABESP is installing and operating 73 MW of distributed solar capacity across 33 of its water treatment plants as the first unconventional renewable energy source built and operated by the company. This on-site generation reduces SABESP's purchased electricity needs and associated Scope 2 emissions while lowering energy costs. Evidence: "Sabesp will also add 73 MW of distributed solar installed capacity to its utility electricity matrix in 33 of its water treatment plants. This electricity self-generation capacity is the first unconventional renewable energy source built and operated by Sabesp." — https://idbinvest.org/en/news-media/idb-invest-supports-improvements-sanitation-and-promotes-distributed-solar-energy-sao
