About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
SAIC Motor and its subsidiaries have installed rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems across manufacturing bases in China, reaching 260 MW capacity in 2023 with annual generation of 247 million kWh. This on-site renewable energy directly reduces Scope 2 emissions from the company's own operations. Capacity grew to 301 MW in 2024 and 409 MW in 2025 reports. Evidence: "During the reporting period, the installed photovoltaic capacity of SAIC Motor reached 260MW, with an annual power generation of up to 247 million kWh, equivalent to reducing carbon emissions by 141 thousand tons per year." — https://www.saicmotor.com/english/download/esg/2023.pdf
