About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Syensqo is installing a large-capacity electric boiler (replacing natural gas boilers) and a biomass boiler at its Saint-Fons site in France under the France 2030 plan. The electric boiler project, in partnership with Dalkia, has an estimated €20 million investment and will reduce 22 ktCO₂ per year, with commissioning in 2029. The biomass boiler is expected to produce low-carbon steam by end of 2026. Evidence: "At its Saint-Fons site, Syensqo will install a large-capacity electric boiler to produce decarbonized steam, replacing two natural gas boilers currently in operation. The total investment is estimated at €20 million and will enable a reduction of 22 ktCO₂ per year." — https://www.syensqo.com/en/press-release/syensqo-accelerates-decarbonization-its-saint-fons-site-support-french-government
