About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Comprehensive decarbonization at Sakai Plant’s Rinkai Factory including on-site solar PV, replacement of gas boilers with high-efficiency JIZAI HEAT heat pumps, process efficiency improvements, and positive pressure/ventilation optimizations. Achieved net-zero GHG emissions in FY2023. Evidence: "As of June 2025, Rinkai Factory at Sakai Plant... have achieved net-zero greenhouse gas emissions... In 2022... developed a new circulating heating heat pump... and replaced the factory’s gas-combustion boiler" — https://www.daikin.com/-/media/Project/Daikin/daikin_com/sustainability/pdf/report/2025_all_browsing-pdf.pdf?hash=B83B3E42EC1BE8FDE87F59F5F5F4DBA4&rev=-1
