About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited commissioned a 1.0 MW DC (0.8 MW AC) in-house solar facility at its Sanand, Gujarat plant in 2021 and expanded it by an additional 0.250 MW DC (0.2 MW AC) to increase renewable energy generation and reduce grid dependency for its manufacturing operations. Evidence: "The Sanand plant commissioned its 1.0 MW DC (0.8 MW AC) in-house solar facility in 2021. Building on this, we expanded capacity by 0.250 MW DC (0.2 MW AC) in line with the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission's 2022 amendment." — https://www.colgateinvestors.co.in/annual-report-2025/environmental-stewardship-optimize.html
