About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Smurfit Westrock (legacy Smurfit Kappa) installed over 12,000 solar panels at its Sangüesa paper mill in Spain. The photovoltaic system works alongside biomass and recovery boilers to generate more than 50% of the mill's annual energy requirements. Evidence: "Over 12,000 solar panels were unveiled at the packaging leader’s Sangüesa paper mill which will work alongside its biomass and recovery boilers to generate more than 50% of its annual energy requirements... The photovoltaic system... is set to reduce the mill’s annual CO2 emissions by over 3,000 tonnes" — https://www.smurfitkappa.com/newsroom/2024/smurfit-kappa-invests-over-30-million-in-spain-to-further-reduce-co2-emissions
