About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Adecoagro inaugurated its second biodigester at the Christophersen dairy freestalls in Santa Fe, Argentina, adding 2 MW capacity (total 3.4 MW with the 2017 unit) to process cow manure into biogas for electricity generation and biofertilizer. The project includes 1,550 solar panels (0.55 MW) to reduce purchased electricity emissions. It captures methane and supports circular economy in own dairy operations. Evidence: "Adecoagro, el mayor productor de leche de la Argentina, inauguró en Christophersen, Santa Fe, su segundo biodigestor para el tratamiento de los efluentes de sus tambos. Para ello invirtió US$8 millones." — https://www.lanacion.com.ar/economia/campo/energia-electrica-el-mayor-productor-de-leche-del-pais-invirtio-us8-millones-en-un-biodigestor-nid09042024/
