About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Mitsui Chemicals installed a 950 kW solar power generation system under a PPA model on an idle lot at its Nagoya Works in March 2024. The system supplies renewable electricity directly to the site to reduce Scope 2 GHG emissions as part of the company's carbon neutral strategy. Evidence: "In March 2024, we adopted the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) model and installed a solar power generation system (power generation capacity: 950 kW) on an idle lot (approx. 8,300 m2) on the former site of a wastewater plant at our Nagoya Works." — https://jp.mitsuichemicals.com/en/sustainability/rc/environment/ghg/index.htm
