About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Boliden Somincor is developing a 49 MWp on-site solar photovoltaic plant at the Neves-Corvo mine in Portugal in partnership with EDP Comercial and Greenvolt Next. The plant will generate nearly 100 GWh annually, covering about one-third of the mine's electricity needs and reducing CO2 emissions by more than 41,000 tonnes per year. It is expected to become operational in the second half of 2026. Evidence: "Boliden Somincor, EDP and the Greenvolt Group have entered into a partnership to install a Self-Consumption Production Unit (UPAC) in the vicinity of the Neves-Corvo mine, in Portugal. ... cutting Boliden Somincor’s carbon dioxide emissions by more than 41,000 tonnes per year" — https://edp.com/en/europe/spain/media/news/boliden-somincor-edp-and-greenvolt-develop-portugals-largest-solar-self
