About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Volvo Cars signed an agreement with SSAB for supply of SSAB Zero steel (produced with fossil-free electricity and biogas from recycled scrap) starting in serial production for the EX60 SUV and other models. This reduces emissions in the upstream value chain (Scope 3). Evidence: "SSAB and Volvo Cars have signed a landmark agreement for the delivery of SSAB Zero™ steel starting already this year. This agreement makes Volvo Cars the first automaker to commit to using decarbonized steel in serial production." — https://www.ssab.com/en/news/2025/06/ssab-and-volvo-cars-sign-ssab-zero-supply-agreement-for-serial-production
