About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Imperial Oil Limited (majority-owned ExxonMobil subsidiary) completed and started up a renewable diesel production unit at its Strathcona refinery in Alberta, Canada. The facility processes Canadian bio-feedstocks like canola oil with low-carbon hydrogen to produce up to 20,000 barrels per day of renewable diesel, reducing emissions in its own refining operations and value chain. Production began in 2025. Evidence: "ExxonMobil majority-owned affiliate, Imperial Oil Limited’s Strathcona Refinery, is now producing renewable diesel." — https://corporate.exxonmobil.com/locations/canada/renewable-diesel-production-at-strathcona-refinery
