About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Sungrow has installed rooftop photovoltaic power stations across its manufacturing plants with a cumulative capacity of 13 MW to expand renewable energy use in its own operations. This on-site generation supports energy conservation measures that saved over 1,300 MWh of electricity in 2023 and increased the share of green electricity to 55% that year. The installations contribute to the company's target of 100% renewable electricity use and operational carbon neutrality (Scope 1+2) by 2028. Evidence: "we have built rooftop PV power stations in the plants, with a cumulative capacity of 13 MW. By virtue of management-based and technology-based energy conservation, we saved over 1,300MWh of electricity throughout the year and increased the proportion of green electricity use to 55%." — https://info-support.sungrowpower.com/application/pdf/2024/05/21/Sungrow%202023%20Sustainability%20Report.pdf
