About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
KDDI has been operating Sustainable Base Stations since May 2023 that achieve net-zero CO2 emissions 24/7/365 using solar panels and renewable energy sources. These stations reduce power consumption of telecommunications equipment and switch to carbon-free power for facilities. Evidence: "Since May 2023, KDDI and au Energy & Life have been operating “Sustainable Base Stations” that achieve net-zero CO2 emissions around the clock, 365 days a year" — https://www.kddi.com/english/corporate/sustainability/carbon/
