About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Takeda installed nearly 7,000 solar photovoltaic panels at its manufacturing site in Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park, California, to provide approximately 40% of the site's on-site electricity needs. The project was approved in 2022 and became operational around 2023-2024 as part of efforts to increase renewable energy at own sites. Evidence: "Drugmaker Takeda Pharmaceuticals will remove 148 trees—none officially protected under city law—to make room for a solar farm to help power the company’s manufacturing plant in Newbury Park." — https://www.toacorn.com/articles/biotech-firm-removing-148-trees-to-add-solar-installation/
