About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

CYPC jointly developed and operates the world's largest pure electric ship for Yangtze River operations as part of fleet electrification and decarbonization efforts. The vessel entered operation in 2024 following its maiden voyage in Yichang. It contributes to reducing emissions in the company's logistics and tourism-related value chain activities. Evidence: "On March 29, Three Gorges No. 1, the world's largest pure electric ship jointly developed and built by CYPC and Hubei Three Gorges Tourism Group, completed its maiden voyage in Yichang City, Hubei Province, and was officially put into operation." — https://www.cypc.com.cn/encypc/gywm/index.html
