The Tianjin Ring Furnace Intelligent Green and Low-Carbon Retrofit Project retrofits the 168mm hot rolled seamless pipe unit's ring-shaped furnace at Tianjin Pipe Corporation with intelligent full-oxygen combustion technology. Supported by China's national air pollution prevention and control fund, which covers half of the investment, it reduces natural gas consumption by approximately 6 million cubic meters annually, NOx emissions by over 90%, and flue gas emissions by more than 70%, without changing production capacity. This initiative promotes sustainable steel production and has been recognized as a national green low-carbon demonstration project.
