About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Los Pelambres mine is trialling and deploying trolley-assist technology with overhead cabling to power haul trucks during loaded ascents, reducing diesel consumption and Scope 1 emissions. Equipment delivery and installation advanced in 2024-2025 as part of broader electrification efforts. Evidence: "Work is underway at Los Pelambres to trial the use of trolley-assist technology, which will enable haul trucks to substantially reduce diesel consumption by connecting to overhead cabling." — https://www.antofagasta.co.uk/media/4815/antofgasta-agm-2025-presentation.pdf

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
