About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
AkzoNobel deployed two large-scale electric heavy goods vehicles (eHGVs) from its Slough site under the UK government's ZEHID programme, alongside a nationwide HVO-powered fleet operated in partnership with XPO Logistics. This logistics electrification and fuel switching project reduces annual carbon emissions by around 3,000 tons. Evidence: "In collaboration with XPO Logistics, we’re now operating two eHGVs from our Slough site – together with an existing hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) powered fleet. This will help us reduce annual carbon emissions by around 3,000 tons." — https://www.akzonobel.com/content/dam/akzonobel-corporate/global/en/investor-relations-images/result-center/archive-annual-reports/2029-2020/akzonobel-annual-report-2025.pdf
