LANXESS signed a PPA with VERBUND to supply approximately 200,000 MWh of green electricity from existing Bavarian hydropower plants to five German production sites from 2026 to 2028. This contracted renewable electricity reduces LANXESS Scope 2 emissions compared to the German grid mix.
