About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Fraport AG installed and commissioned a 17.4 MWp vertical photovoltaic system with 37,000 modules along Runway 18 West at Frankfurt Airport. The system generates up to 17.4 million kWh annually, primarily supplying air conditioning for terminals and the growing fleet of electric vehicles at the airport. Evidence: "The system will see 37,000 vertically-aligned modules generating up to 17.4 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually for all Fraport Group companies based at Frankfurt Airport. The solar power produced will be used primarily for air conditioning of the terminals and to supply the airport's growing fleet of electric vehicles." — https://www.fraport.com/en/newsroom/press-releases/2025/q4/solar-power-for-fraport---37-000-vertical-photovoltaic-modules-e.html
